Donation of paper products to hospitals and fellow citizens affected by the earthquake | DELT Papir

Zagreb earthquake

On Sunday, March 22nd 2020, at 06:24 hours, an earthquake measuring 5.5 on the Richter scale demolished a large part of the Zagreb city center and surrounding parts of the city. Heavily damaged are Zagreb hospitals, too. Heart touching images of mothers with their newborns in the cold, displaced patients due to unsafe old hospital buildings, streets full of demolished plaster and bricks, all this at a time of strict measures to curb the spread of coronavirus, on which we even forgot for a second because of the fear and panic – they touched and shocked everyone.

In the most difficult times humanity is a footprint that remains indelible. Circumstances have made things so that toilet paper is currently one of the most sought-after products, disinfectants are constantly lacking, hygiene supplies are more necessary than ever. Fortunately (in an accident), as a manufacturer of paper products, with our donation of hygiene products we were able to help Croatian hospitals, exhausted and damaged, with a strong earthquake and with the COVID-19 virus.

We have donated paper products to our fellow citizens whose homes have been badly damaged in a devastating earthquake. They are currently housed in the “Cvjetno naselje” student dormitory and with our donation we have hopefully made it easier for them to get through the troubles that hit them.
